Ken Gronbach

Author of the current best selling book "The Age Curve: How To Profit from the Coming Demographic Storm". His first book, “Common Census, the Counter-Intuitive Guide to Generational Marketing” was released in 2005. Ken’s 2011 book “Decades of Differences, Making it Work” is a comprehensive guide to coping with three generations in the workforce. Watch for Ken’s new book “Demography is Destiny, The Incredible Power of People” in 2016.

 

Ken is an internationally respected demographer who has been able to forecast societal, commercial, economic, cultural and political phenomena with uncanny accuracy. Ken’s unusual blend of marketing savvy and common sense demography, based on twenty years of proprietary demographic study, set him apart. Ken keynotes all over the United States and does customized demographic research.

Ken built KGA Advertising, INC., a $40 million consumer/retail advertising agency, from the ground up in the 1980’s and 1990’s. One of Ken’s clients, a fashion apparel retailer, grew from $10 million in annual sales to over $400 million on Ken’s watch.

 

Ken’s hobbies include building hot rod Mustangs and Porsches. He and his family enjoy boating and fishing on Long Island Sound. 

 

Ken graduated from California State University at Long Beach and currently lives in Connecticut with his Baby Boomer wife of 41 years and two Generation Y daughters.

Michael Williams

Mike is one of the most well-known, well-respected financial advisors in the world.  He is a frequent contributor for national news broadcasts, including Fox Business News, CNBC and Bloomberg.  He travels the globe speaking to colleagues, clients and business leaders.  He has the rare combination of tireless research and finely-tuned instincts that make him one of the most prominent voices in the investing world.  

 

As a partner, he previously served as market strategist and lead the role of marketing for the Fund Family at Tocqueville Asset Management.  He was also Portfolio Manager of the Tocqueville Genesis Fund.   

 

Before joining Tocqueville, Mr. Williams was the Managing Director for Genesis Partners, a research and advisory firm he directed from 1990 to 2003. He continues to provide daily and weekly market insights to thousands of advisors, institutions and clients around the globe.  The documented, dated research that provided our excellent record of major trend calls over the years is readily available for review. 

 

Prior to that, from 1982 to 1990, Mr. Williams ran his own financial planning firm based in Atlanta with offices in New York City. In 1983, after a year on Wall Street at the trading floor level, Mike Williams started Genesis Partners as a private financial planning practice for FSC Securities, in Atlanta, Georgia.  Within 6 months, the unit had offices in Atlanta, New York and Los Angeles.  Over the next four years, they developed a client roster of wealthy individuals, reaching a peak of 53 clients with over $450 million in assets.  The SectorFlow process was created over the 1982 to 1990 period to track the institutional capital flow into and out of sectors within the markets.  That research has been provided to financial advisors throughout the country since 1993.

 

Mike has lead hundreds of audience presentations for advisors and their clients as well as a significant number of Broker-Dealers around the globe.  He has spoken often for the Chicago Symposium for Financial Advisor Magazine and at numerous MoneyShows.

 

Mike has appeared many times over the years on Fox Business News, CNBC, Bloomberg TV and Bloomberg Radio.  He previously co-hosted daily radio shows with Steve Crowley on American Scene Radio and BusinessTalk News as well as PowerMoney Radio out of Atlanta.  Mike has spoken to several business classes at colleges for students in a helpful overreview of the function of markets.

Sam Sorenson

Sam is an award-winning producer, director, photojournalist, and editor.  His 20-year-career has taken him across the country and around the world.  During the Iraq War, Sam embedded with the National Guard and produced a multi-award-winning documentary telling the soldiers' stories.  

 

Sam is a four-time Emmy Award winner, and has been nominated for more than 20 Emmy Awards.  He has won four Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards, and the prestigious National Edward R. Murrow Award. 

 

He has produced commercials and film projects for several international brands, including Black and Decker, Lands' End, Rayovac, and George Foreman Grill.  He is currently overseeing production of a feature-length documentary about global demography, exploring how population dynamics will impact the world's economies and cultures.

John Kostaken

As you can see, John is a real rocket scientist.  He oversees data formation and website analytics as well as proper services and operations.  If clients need something special created from a technical point of view, John makes sure it happens.

 

Before we were lucky enough to have him here, John graduated from DePaul University in 2009 with degrees in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. He has worked on research projects varying from the study of unique copolymer formations to working with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory on IR observations of star-forming regions.

 

His experience in data analytics in demographics and market research adds to our wealth of knowledge we pass on to clients.

 

He loves to cook and just recently got married to his better three-quarters.

Phanit Williams

Phanit makes sure that our design concepts flow smoothly online and off - and that they effectively present the information needed by the viewer.  She oversees all design maintanence for all reports, websites and graphic materials for our research, emails and all channels of dissemination.

 

She graduated from UIC in Chicago with a major in Graphic Design.  

 

She loves to paint and has delivered many portraits to clients over the years.  Before coming here, she previously worked for The Goodman Theatre here in Chicago and handled client graphic design.  Prior to that she handled interface designs for clients at Centrax. 

 

In NYC, she also handled graphic design for school newsletters over the years.
